The room was clean and tidy, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful and beautiful country setting, with orchards and markets nearby.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

We had a fantastic time at Bluebell Lodge. The host, Carol, was considerate and attentive, making us feel at home. The self-contained flatette had all the facilities we needed, including full Sky TV and free wifi. The restful rural location was lovely, and the bonus of the swimming pool was greatly appreciated, even though we didn't use it. The ice cream provided was also delicious. Thanks again to Carol and Max for a wonderful stay.

The decoration of the hotel was just lovely, with cozy and elegant furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and spacious, providing a comfortable place for seniors like me to relax and socialize. The hotel's accessibility was also impressive, with ramps and elevators available for those who may have difficulty with stairs. It was truly a senior-friendly environment.

Perhaps the only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a clearer indication of where to find assistance if needed. The children working there were kind and helpful, but having a designated area or signage to easily locate them would have been beneficial.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bluebell Lodge and Cottage! The owner Carol was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location, overlooking the orchards, was beautiful and peaceful. Being close to Havelock North was convenient for shopping and having family nearby. The highlight for us was being able to use the owner's private pool. It was absolutely stunning and added the perfect touch to our stay.
